Part P public consultation: 2011-2012
In this section
Part P public consultation, December 2011 - March 2012
The Government is reviewing Part P of the Building Regulations (England and Wales). The Electrical Safety Council (ESC) have been working with industry and other stakeholders to make the case for the retention of Part P albeit with improvements.
It is expected that a public consultation will open in December 2011 and will run for three months before closing in March 2012. The ESC has created an e-petition which we would be happy if you could sign to raise awareness of the issue among parliamentarians and strengthen the case for the retention of Part P. Please sign the petition at http://epetitions.direct.gov.uk/petitions/20652
