About the Authors
The authors, Jonathan Elliott and Mark Coles, are both Senior Engineers with the Institution of Engineering and Technology, where they are involved with the preparation of the IEE Wiring Regulations BS7671 and related guidance.
Jonathan Elliott BSc (Hons) PG Cert IEng MIEE is an experienced lecturer on City & Guilds electrical courses and is a UK expert to international committee IEC MT 3, dealing with external influences.
Mark Coles BEng (Hons) MIEE served an electrical apprenticeship with the UK Atomic Energy Authority and worked as Contracts Manager in electrical contracting.
